As the owner / rider and developer of the TM 300 2 stroke FI bike, I feel a real description and assessment of the bike is much more realistic than the official description offered by TM Moto or some AI generated review.  So here it goes!

Once the large, low velocity reed assembly was replaced in the TM 300, the tuning became easy. Along with a simple cylinder head cut, the 25 - 26 TM 300 FI bike is a real KTM challenger and worth buying Buy your bike, already modded, from thetmdude.com

As of 7-17-25, there isn't much to work with on the low performing engine of this 2025 TM 300 FI. Watch and listen as we go over the parameters, and let's do what we can do to find power! - The compression is only 165 PSI, which is way too low. - The power valve is an issue, as we discussed in the previous video. It doesn't stay closed for long enough. We don't have a solution for that yet. - Fuel and timing needs to be leaner on the bottom and the top, with more ignition timing. Nothing we can do for that at the moment, but we are working on it. - For now, we need more compression, around 190 / 200. I'm going to use the thinnest base gasket I have in my kit. Set the compression, and see how it impacts the bottom end.
